I barely open my eyes
Submerged by darkness
How long did I sleep?

My heart starts rumbling
Well before knowing why
But I quickly realize

Another cigarette
The first of this morning
Or the last of yesterday night

Woke up once again at 4am
With you in my mind
And a heartbreak to fight.
