Bad weather…

…but there was a good reason for the kids and myself for going to the beach: watching the Patrouille de France army aerobatic team draw this beautiful heart in the sky. More than 80.000 people were there for the display, despite the storm threat. The day ended up with a fresh rain and some distant thunders. And an ice cold Leffe Blonde for me, while sitting on the mobile home porch. “Hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away…”

Cheers!

Such a cool picture. We live right by Hill AFB and their equivalent of that, The Thunderbirds, do a big show every summer. Pretty freakin’ amazing. Never seen them do a heart though. Glad you guys got to see them. Awesome. Looks like it was chilly outside that day. Hugs…

The Thunderbirds, I’d so love to watch their display one day! I’ve only seen the Blue Angels once… Not chilly Calen, just stormy but 75F. And we are having a great time. Hugs back πŸ’™

Yes we do! I am a kind of aircraft fanatical since childhood so I go and see and take photos as much as I can. But I can also be very boring when I explain why it was so challenging for the pilots to do this or so special that a peculiar plane could do that. I can see it in my daughter’s bored eyes πŸ˜€ anyway enjoying the show didn’t need any particular flight theories knowledge and the kids were happy. Btw good to seek you around Vonna! Much love, HC

Thanks. I understand the glazed over look in the eye when you are enthused about a subject others aren’t but, O does it make it all the more sweeter when you come across someone who is.

And the more “rare” your passion is, the sweeter such encounters will be…
