Keep on

Keep on smiling at me
Make them jealous about
This halo around us

Keep on holding my hand
Let them dream about
Our warmest embrace

Keep on whispering to me
And they’ll wonder about
The secrets that we share

Keep on feeling with me
The feeling that makes us
So deliciously ordinary.

    That’s one of the most romantic poems I’ve ever read! And it isn’t even flowery! Just beautiful… {{{HC}}}

    Reblogged this on Impromptu Promptlings and commented:
    It’s only fair, since it’s a Friday Favorites day, that I include a poem from one of my own favorite poets on these blogs! This little poem by Heavy Cloud has just raised an ordinary time together to something really precious. Loved it, Tony!

    I’ve noticed a marked difference in your writing since your beach Vaca. Perhaps one of the planes during the air show had a lovely pilot… โ˜บ

      No I didn’t meet any handsome pilot but you’re right, the vacation did me good… ๐Ÿ˜€

        Haha. I’ll take your word. Although being the word lover that I am, I happen to notice the difference in how we described said pilots…

            Agreed. It’s trying to convince others of that. As well as our oftentimes unconscious ways of speaking louder with what we don’t say but, how we tippy – toe around certain nuances.
