This is a life and I am just another one dealing with it. That awkward moment between birth and death, as someone said.

I decided to create a personal blog back in 2013, but I left it empty for months before finding something I really needed to tell. Some months after, something happened and I started to fill up a notebook with my daily thoughts. Yes, the kind of paper notebooks to be used with a real, old-fashioned pen. It followed me all around and I collected in there my feelings until I decided to start reporting them here…

You will find inside many banal thoughts, told in a somehow banal way, about a banal heartbreak and all the good and the bad things that go with it. Well, mostly the bad ones for now. Better ones coming soon, I hope…

Be welcome, your simple presence is a gift to me. And don’t be scared if it can sometimes look dark and hopeless. Life sometimes is, and this is just about a random life.

PS – English is not my mother tongue so, please, be indulgent to me and feel free to leave your remarks. Also, everything herein is a “first take”. I almost never come back on what I write, excepted if I notice what I think to be a spelling or grammar mistake. And I don’t usually notice much of them 😛

        LoL! Si sono Italiana nata e cresciuta in Italia, ma in USA solo dal 2002… Non avrei mai pensato che sei Italiano anche se hai detto che l’inglese non e’ la tua madre lingua il tuo inglese e’ fluente… 🙂

    For someone who says that English is not their first language, you do remarkably well. Now, I am curious as to what your mother-tongue is? Now, I shall begin the hunt for some of your poetry for that is one of the things I love.

My first language is Italian – well, I’d rather say Neapolitan, then Italian 😉 Feel free to dig into my blog but beware, some older things are pretty impulsive and by far what I like the less, I just kept them as a reminder to self about how low I did go… I hope you will enjoy your stay.         Salut HC et bienvenue chez moi aussi. I’m enjoying the poems I’ve found on your blog so far and just reblogged one of them. Sometimes it is those that are impulsive strike closer to the marrow and can tell things about us we may not want to reveal. I know that has happened to me. As for France, I bought my house when I got here and have no plans to go anywhere and certainly not back to the point of origin. bisous, Léa
