Rain has stopped, streetlights still on
I watch my steps between the puddles
Long way to go but I feel loosen up
Blithe, I turn my jackets’ collar up
She has your long brown hair
My jaw clenches, I need to look away
Drunk enough not to feel the cold
But not enough to elude my mind.
You actually made me cry… Connected with that somewhere I didn’t really want to go. Pretty powerful for me.

I am sincerely and deeply moved by your words. I feel at the same time proud and uncomfortable for having caused such emotions and I don’t know if I better thank you or apologize. Maybe both 🙂 Much love my sweet lady, HC
